Dear Parents / Guardians:
The Booneville - Main Club, Magazine Site, and Teen Center will be open for After School Programming!!!
Please read this entire message for important information to consider prior to submitting a request for membership:
With existing conditions and the requirement to meet CDC / ADH guidelines for child care centers, we cannot open membership registration as we typically have done. The registration process has been revised to help us determine those “who need us most” during this time.
Main Club Information and Registration:
Dates: Clubs will open on the first day of school
Hours: Booneville – 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Magazine – 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (1)
Teen Center – 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
(All time are pending final determination of school schedules)
Ages: Booneville – Age 6 – 6th Grade
Magazine – Age 6 – 6th Grade
Teen Center – 7th Grade to 12th Grade
Attendance: After membership is accepted, regular attendance with a minimum of 3 days a week is required to maintain membership.
Capacity: Booneville – 50 Members
Magazine – 30 Members
Teen Center – 20 Members
Selection Membership requests will be accepted as follows:
Criteria: A. Membership will first be extended to elementary aged children who enrolled and attended the summer
programs at Booneville – Main Club and Magazine Site on a regular basis.
B. For our after-school program, these prospective members must be enrolled in traditional classroom learning
at their respective school district.
C. Membership for the Teen Center will first be extended to incoming 7th grade through 12th grade youth who attended during the
summer at the Main Club (6th grade students), or were regular in attendance with no behavior issues during the
Spring semester 2020.
D. Teen Center prospective members must be enrolled in traditional classroom learning.
E. After Stage 1 of enrollment, A-D above, the remaining membership spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis
through online registration of former members meeting the steps B), C), or D) above.
F. Others enrolling after our maximum membership spots are filled will be held on a wait list and contacted in the event that a Stage 1 member no longer attends on a regular basis, which is associated with requirements of some of the grants we access for support.
Safety: Only staff and members will be permitted to enter the Club. All
persons entering the Club will complete and must pass a health
screening and temperature check before they can enter.
Exceptions are School District Personnel, Emergency Personnel, Law
Enforcement, DHHS Professionals, BGGSLC Board Members and
anyone conducting Club business.
For security purposes, all exterior doors will be locked to limit access.
Masks must be worn in all indoor and outdoor environments where
social distancing isn’t possible by any member age 10 and up.
(The Club will follow each school districts guidelines and require
masks to be worn by anyone the school districts mandate)
The Club will have a designated isolation area for members who
show signs of illness and must be separated
from everyone else until a parent / guardian picks them up within
15 minutes.
